Veronica Felizardo
Registered Social Worker (MSW) and Psychotherapist
ADHD Assessments & Neurodivergent support • Overfunctioning Professionals • Couples & Conflict Recovery
Veronica works with the resistant, the overwhelmed, and the “I’ve tried everything” crowd. She supports individuals, couples, and families navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, emotional regulation, addictions, workplace stress, relationship conflict, and major life transitions through a direct, practical, and deeply human approach to therapy.
Veronica believes healing should feel real and useful — not overly clinical or full of fluff. Her work blends honest conversation, practical tools, accountability, and evidence-based approaches to help clients create meaningful and lasting change in their everyday lives. She creates a non-judgmental and adaptable space where clients can show up exactly as they are, whether they are navigating emotional overwhelm, resistance to therapy, crisis support, skill-building, or deeper exploration of long-standing patterns. Veronica believes resistance is not a problem to fix, but often a starting point for understanding and meaningful change.
Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, somatic practices, Gottman methods, and ADHD-informed strategies to support clients in building emotional resilience, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and practical coping tools that fit real life. Veronica is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients, couples navigating repetitive conflict, first responders, educators, caregivers, LGBTQ2+ communities, and individuals moving through burnout, complex family dynamics, or high-stakes life transitions. Her presence is grounded, compassionate, direct, and focused on helping clients move forward in ways that feel honest, sustainable, and empowering.
Clinical Supervision:
In addition to her clinical work, Veronica provides supervision and mentorship for therapists looking to deepen their clinical skills, strengthen confidence, and navigate the realities of working within the mental health field. With more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and complex mental health presentations, she offers practical, honest, and experience-based guidance rooted in both clinical knowledge and real-world practice.
