Marli Nicol
Registered Psychotherapist
Gender-based Violence • Somatic Care • EMDR
Marli supports teens and adults healing from trauma, gender-based violence, intimate partner violence, and the lasting impacts these experiences can have on the mind and body. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and deeply trauma-informed, helping clients reconnect with themselves, their nervous systems, and a greater sense of safety and agency.
Marli believes healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and able to move at their own pace. Through somatic and evidence-based approaches, she helps clients process difficult experiences, build self-compassion, and reconnect with a greater sense of calm, strength, and trust within themselves.
As a Registered Psychotherapist and certified yoga instructor, Marli integrates EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, breathwork, trauma-focused therapies, and one-on-one yoga sessions into her work. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and paced with care, supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies, emotions, boundaries, and inner resilience while helping integrate the work explored within traditional therapy settings.
