Krista Bolger

Registered Psychotherapist

Neurodivergence • Disordered Eating • Somatic Care

There are moments when life starts to feel heavier than it should- when food, body image, anxiety, overwhelm, relationships, or simply getting through the day feels hard. Maybe you’re stuck in patterns you can’t quite understand, feeling disconnected from yourself, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Krista works with children, teens, and adults navigating disordered eating, body image concerns, neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about supporting people who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of where to begin, helping clients reconnect with themselves in ways that feel compassionate, meaningful, and sustainable.

Krista’s approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to slow down and get curious about ourselves. Drawing from somatic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), polyvagal, mindfulness-based, and humanistic approaches, she supports clients in understanding their nervous systems, emotional patterns, and the protective strategies that may once have helped them cope. Whether you are exploring your relationship with food and body, processing trauma, navigating neurodivergence, or making sense of experiences that feel difficult to name, Krista believes therapy should honour your story, your pace, and your unique needs.

Working with Krista feels grounded, compassionate, and deeply human. She believes therapy doesn’t require you to have the “right words” or show up as the “best version” of yourself; this is a "come as you are" space. The messy days, overwhelmed days, numb days, and hopeful ones all belong here. Krista brings authenticity, compassion, honesty, and humour (when it fits), creating a space where clients often feel deeply seen, supported, and understood. Her hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can exhale, feel less alone, and begin reconnecting with yourself in ways that feel genuine and lasting.
