Jessie Titteron

RN, Psychotherapist

Complex Mental Health • Burnout & Compassion Fatigue • Gender-based Violence

Jessie brings an integrative, compassionate, and clinically grounded approach to therapy, shaped by her background in nursing, mental health care, and trauma‑informed support. Her nursing perspective informs the way she understands the whole person — mind, body, nervous system, environment, and lived experience — and helps her recognize how stress, trauma, and chronic overwhelm show up physiologically as well as emotionally. She works with individuals navigating burnout, trauma, emotional overwhelm, serious and persistent mental health challenges, and the lasting impacts stress can have on both physical and psychological well-being. Jessie believes healing involves understanding the full picture of a person’s health, not just symptoms or diagnoses, while creating grounded spaces where clients feel safe, supported, and able to reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.

With extensive experience supporting individuals living with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, concurrent disorders, trauma, and complex mental health challenges, Jessie brings both clinical depth and deep compassion into the therapeutic process. She also has a strong understanding of burnout, compassion fatigue, caregiving stress, and the emotional weight many people carry while trying to care for others. Her work helps clients slow down, better understand themselves, build resilience, and move toward healing in ways that feel sustainable, supportive, and human.

Jessie previously worked as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, shaping her trauma-informed understanding of the needs of survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Her approach blends Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the nursing process, Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM), nervous system awareness, reflective conversation, and practical tools informed by DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Jessie creates calm, culturally safe, and inclusive spaces where clients feel respected, supported, and able to explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe for them.
