Danielle Sansom

Registered Social Worker and Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying)

Navigating Grief & Loss • Anxiety, Depression & Life transitions • Personal Growth

Danielle brings a warm, grounded, and compassionate approach to therapy, creating spaces where people can feel safe enough to slow down, be honest about what they are carrying, and begin reconnecting with themselves in meaningful ways. With a Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, she brings experience supporting individuals across all ages and stages of life.

Her work focuses on helping clients navigate mental health challenges, relationship struggles, grief, loss, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. Danielle believes therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and human — meeting people exactly where they are while helping them build greater self-awareness, resilience, coping strategies, and confidence moving forward.

Danielle understands that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, intimidating, or even overwhelming at times. Her goal is to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the process. She is passionate about walking alongside people as they move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.
