Serves youth & adults

Caitlyn Chisamore

Art Therapy Intern and Somatic Practitioner

Embodiment • Creativity and Expression • Integration

Caitlyn supports youth (13+) and adults navigating stress and burnout, the transition to parenthood, parenting, life transitions, financial stress and emotional overwhelm. She understands how life stressors can take a toll on your emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, leaving you feeling disconnected, exhausted and dysregulated.

Sometimes you don’t have the words, or the cognitive capacity to express how you feel. Perhaps you’re desiring to feel a sense of connection with yourself, your loved ones, your work and the earth again. If you’re seeking an experiential approach, you may be interested in the integration of somatic, arts, nature-based, mindfulness and relational approaches, to support stress reduction, increase embodied capacity, clarity and resilience.

Caitlyn has a special interest working with mothers and parents, as she experienced first- hand the biological- neurological-psychological-social-spiritual-economic-ecological transformation of motherhood, and the ever-evolving transition into motherhood (Matrescence). She is also passionate about working with stress and burnout, and financial stress.

Through personal expression and present-moment awareness she aims to promote a greater sense of ease, agency and empowerment. Her offerings include individual and group art therapy, as she believes that social connection is an inherent human need, and an important aspect of healing.
